It ends up making no sense to see paintings by great visual artists outside of the ideal place, according to the minister, who highlighted that there is often a lack of space to display the best of plastic arts that Angola has, writes Angop.

Thus, he added that the ministry headed by him has a project aimed at building a contemporary art museum.

Regarding the exhibition - which features more than 40 works by the aforementioned artist - Filipe Zau took the opportunity to congratulate Álvaro Macieira for "Angola Kiesse – Tons e Cores", which portrays African ancestors and mythology. He also made reference to the artist's collections, classifying them as fantastic, given that the collector ends up bringing bright and open colors from the country, such as yellow, says Angop.

Furthermore, in order to meet the needs of the shortage of materials for these artists, the head of the Culture portfolio urged businesspeople to provide support with regards to this issue, in order to further stimulate national culture.

He said that they hope that the business class does not limit itself only to the sectors of catering, commerce and industry and also invests in art. "Let's hope that the business class doesn't just limit itself to restaurants and other issues linked to commerce and industry, but also to art," he added.
