On its official website, the Government also advances that, until the next 15th, "more provinces start to carry out tests, inverting the current situation that boils down to just one laboratory". The tests currently carried out in the capital are limited to 25 thousand units.
The guarantee of provincial uniformity in the access to the tests was given by the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, in the habitual current situation of the country regarding the covid-19.
The government official also assured that the Government continues to acquire fans and essential supplies to face the current pandemic, which has affected Angola for about two weeks.
In the last 24 hours, there was one more positive case of infection, bringing the number of infected people to eight in Angola. At the moment, five patients are hospitalized and one is recovering, with two deaths to be recorded.
It is also known that, until the end of this week, all citizens who are quarantined in Calumbo must return to their homes, against the negative result of 120 samples analyzed.
From now on, it was decided that the current quarantine centers will support any positive cases with mild symptoms, while hospitals will deal with critical cases.
Until the first day of the month, the quarantine centers received 1700 people, in several provinces of the country, with Luanda leading the list (919 people, 441 of whom were in institutional quarantine).
