Kaheel will produce mini tractors and fertilizers. The initiative has an investment of 50 million dollars

About 50 million dollars was how much the factory Kaheel Agricultura Angola invested to create factories for the production of mini tractors and fertilizers. The manufacturing units are being built at the Viana industrial hub, in Luanda.

:

Farogh Iqbal Ahmad, the company's general manager, informed that the inauguration of the mini tractor unit "is scheduled for the last week of this month" while the fertilizer unit "is scheduled to officially launch in January or February 2022".

Cited by Angop, the company's director-general explained that the assembly of tractors aims to make this equipment available to all farmers who want to automate their activity, thus promoting family farming.

Onésimo Kindissa, assembly line supervisor, clarified that the tractors are easy to operate: "The mini agricultural tractors were designed to provide the best performance in the field, as the traditional ones, as they incorporate all the features for precision agriculture, monitoring performance and breadth on the ground".

Also mentioned by Angop, the supervisor revealed that the unit will also produce machines for planting and spraying, among others.

In October of last year, Kaheel started producing tractors. The factory is capable of producing around 3000 tractors annually and is the result of an investment of around US$65 million from the UAE.
