According to a statement from the provincial government of Namibe, to which VerAngola had access, with the opening of the new interprovincial transport agency, Real Express becomes the "third operator of its kind to operate in the province of Namibe".
Ema da Silva, deputy governor for Technical Services and Infrastructure, who attended the inauguration ceremony, considered that this new infrastructure is an added value for the province's mobility.
Quoted in the note, the official highlighted that "the start of operations of the new agency" represents "another gain for the province's mobility services, a fact that responds to the growing demand in several areas, including tourism".
In the initial phase, the operator will operate on sections from the southern provinces to the capital, in the hope that the initiative will expand to other areas of the country, said the deputy governor.
The official, quoted by Angop, stated that the start of the company's operations will strengthen the service to users in the province who wish to travel to other areas of the country, offering greater safety and comfort.
According to the official, the more initiatives of this type appear, the greater the market's competitiveness will be, resulting in fair prices.
The company's official, Altino Beu, said that "the opening of the Namibe–Lubango-Benguela-Luanda route created 10 jobs for local young people", according to the provincial government's statement.
According to Angop, the operator operates on the Namibe/Huíla/Namibe/Benguela/Namibe/Cuanza Sul/Namibe/Luanda routes and vice versa, with tickets ranging from 15,000 kwanzas to 25,000 kwanzas.
