In a statement obtained by VerAngola, INAGBE announced that "the application process for undergraduate scholarships is now open, under the PEC-G 2026 - Brazil Undergraduate Student Agreement Program, for the 2026 academic year."
The application period began this Friday and will last approximately two weeks. "The application period will last 15 days, from July 11th to 25th of this year," the statement reads.
According to INAGBE, the courses offered include engineering, technology, health sciences, chemistry, physics, mathematics, and biology.
Those interested in applying must meet certain requirements: "Angolan nationality; age no older than 22; have completed high school, with a final score equal to or higher than 14; and reside in Angola."
Regarding the required documentation, INAGBE states that the pre-registration form available here is required, as well as a copy of identity card, passport (pages 1, 2, and 32), and a "certificate of completion of the Second Cycle of Secondary Education, with an average of 14 or higher, duly recognized by the Provincial Office of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs."
"Candidates under the age of 18 will be eligible, provided they turn 18 by January 1, 2026," the institute states, adding that "if it is found that the candidate already receives or has received a scholarship awarded by INAGBE in the last three years, the application will be immediately rejected."
Regarding selection, the institute clarifies that it will be based on the principle of merit.
"The selection criteria are based on the principle of merit, reflected in high academic performance and recognized cognitive and social skills, regardless of the candidate's socioeconomic level," the note reads, adding that "in the event of a tie, the first tiebreaker criterion is the priority given to the female gender and the second is the candidate's age."
