South Koreans want to build integrated school complex in Angola

A delegation from South Korea intends to invest in Angola's education sector and is planning to build a school complex that will include preschool, primary, secondary, and technical-vocational education. The project was presented to the Minister of Education, Luísa Grilo, during a meeting this Thursday.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Education, obtained by VerAngola, the South Korean delegation, led by the president of the Korea-African Peace Foundation, Yongwoo Lee, was received by the Minister of Education late Thursday morning.

The meeting served to "present the project to build an integrated school complex, with early childhood education, elementary school, high school, and technical-vocational education."

At the meeting, Luísa Grilo thanked the South Korean delegation "for considering investing" in the country, especially "in a strategic sector for the social sector, such as education, which can meet the desires of many young people to continue their studies."

The meeting, held at the Ministry of Education's main building, "was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Angola accredited to South Korea, Sianga Abílio, and members of the Office of the Minister of Education," the statement further stated.
