Census: INE wants 80 thousand agents. Recruitment has already started, access the application link

It started this Wednesday, the process of recruiting more than 79 thousand field agents to carry out the general population and housing census 2024. The process, for which applications are submitted online, will run until the 27th of this month.

According to a statement from the National Statistics Institute (INE), to which VerAngola had access, the process aims to recruit a total of 79,423 field agents, of which 67,131 are census agents and 12,292 for supervision.

The deadline for submitting applications opens this Wednesday and will run until May 27th.

Regarding the distribution of vacancies by province, the highlight goes to the capital, where, according to the INE note, there are 20,185 vacancies for agents. In addition to Luanda, the provinces of Huíla, Cuanza Sul and Huambo are also highlighted, with 7642, 7462 and 7390 agents required, respectively.

The provinces of Cabinda, Zaire and Uíge will have 1591, 1386 and 4631, respectively. Cuanza Norte will have 1384 agents, Malanje with 3097, Lunda Norte with 2934 and Benguela with 6108.

For the provinces of Bié, Moxico, Cuando Cubango and Namibe, 5423, 2540, 2114 and 1053 agents are needed respectively, while Cunene will have 2058, Lunda Sul with 1165 and Bengo with 1260.

Therefore, interested parties must apply online, submitting their application to the link https://recrutamentocenso2024.ine.ao.

Among the necessary documents to be presented are the certificate of educational qualifications or another document that attests to the academic level, photocopy of the Identity Card, CV, two passport-sized photographs and presentation of the IBAN in a record extracted from the banking entity or net banking, indicates INE.

Candidates must be Angolan, have at least completed secondary education, and be at least 18 years old, and it is also mandatory to have an email address. Among the requirements, says INE, is the fact that they have the ability to work in extreme environmental conditions, "immediate and full-time availability to participate in training and data collection, including weekends and holidays", as well as "being a resident and having knowledge of the geographic area for which you are applying".

INE also states that there are advantages "have specific training in IT or similar", "have knowledge and skills in MS Office, especially in Word, Excel", as well as have knowledge of the local language and "have participated in censuses and/or surveys carried out by INE".

Remember that the general census begins on July 19th. The updating of the cartographic network was recently completed, which, according to Angop, made it possible to register more than five million family homes, more than 23 thousand collectives, 145 thousand services and 32 thousand villages.
