"By the year 2024 we estimate that there will be around 35 million Angolans in the national territory", he stated, quoted by Televisão Pública de Angola (TPA).

The spokesperson also made it known that the cartographic updating process is at 60.6 percent: "At this time, across the entire national territory, we have a cartographic update rate of around 60.6 percent (...), which is highly positive", he pointed out.

According to Hernane Luís, cited by TPA, the provinces of Bengo, Cuanza Norte and Lunda Sul "have already completed the cartographic updating work".

"In the coming days, the provinces of Cuanza Norte and Bengo will be able to reinforce the Luanda teams. Around 95 cartographers will enter Luanda to reinforce the Luanda team", he said, adding that they expect, in the next three weeks, that the provinces of Cabinda, Cuanza Sul, Lunda Norte and Cuando Cubango complete the process.
