Sharam Diniz and Sílvio Nascimento star in a short film directed by college students

Sharam Diniz and Sílvio Nascimento are the protagonists of a short film made by university students, who represent the future of the "national seventh art".

Participating in the short film pro-bono, because they believe in the project, Sharam Diniz and Silvio Nascimento are Ester and Emanuel, a young couple who are economically and professionally stable. However, the couple's stability is going to be shaken because of infertility problems.

"When I was invited by João Miranda, I immediately felt that it was a project with quality and structure," said Sharam Diniz, quoted in a statement sent to VerAngola.

"Then the story won me over and I couldn't refuse the help and promotion of this short film," she added.

Silvio Nascimento said he joined the "talented Sharam and this group of promising young people with the normal delivery as an actor and with the natural enthusiasm of one who supports, promotes and dreams of the Angolan film product.

"This is one more block that we put in place to help build the much desired film industry and we want to be part of the revolution of the seventh national art that I am sure will happen in the next 10 years," he indicated.

The director of the short film, João Miranda, said that "it was a privilege to work with Sharam and Silvio, two talented professionals who are very easy to deal with.

He also said he was happy to be able to "contribute to the development and growth of national cinema", hoping that everyone "will like the final result of this work".

The characters were created by "a group of film and television students, who represent the future of the seventh national art".

Although it is not yet available, the short film "promises to shake up the quality of national directing." According to the note, the excerpts of the recordings that have already been released "do justice to an ambition to have a successful product, which shows that the quality of national cinema is growing rapidly and sustainably."

"The short film has Executive Production by Benedito Tiyakala, counts with producer Ruy Miguel, has an original script by Délcio Pipa and adapted by João Miranda. The assistant director was Luís Germano and the director was João Miranda", completes the note.
