Among the 16 confirmed cases there are two deaths, while two other patients have already recovered, remaining 12 active cases.
According to the government, Luanda remains the only province in the country to register positive cases of covid-19. The executive also revealed that the two new cases are a 19-year-old and a 25-year-old adult.
There are currently 1,634 people in quarantine, of whom 673 are in institutional quarantine.

In the coming days, according to Franco Mufinda, the aim is to broaden the testing base using other, faster methodologies.
