During the same period, about one million angolans, spread all over the country, obtained their identity card, refers to a note from the guardianship, cited by Angop.
The communiqué reveals that these numbers were reached thanks to the investments made in this area.
The note, signed by Minister Francisco Queiroz, highlights, among the investments made, the construction and start-up of the production center of the Identity Card, in the capital, which is capable of issuing, per day, 20 thousand tickets. It also highlights the creation of identification posts at home and abroad, specifically in Portugal, France, South Africa, Zambia and Namibia.
The note, which aims to mark the day of the Angolan identifier (which is celebrated this Tuesday, January 5), indicates that this day serves to reflect on the work performed by the Ministry.
The Angolan identifier day was created in 1976 to mark the date on which the first identity card of an Angolan citizen was issued.
