Gilmário Vemba, Dji Tafinha and Edgar de Sousa bring to life the characters in the animation ‘Zak and Wowo: The Legend of the Legendarys’

Gilmário Vemba, Dji Tafinha and Edgar de Sousa are the voices of the animated film 'Zak and Wowo: The Legend of the Legendarys', which hits national cinemas on January 31, 2025.

Dji Tafinha provides the voice for the main character, in this case Zak. The rapper took to social media to announce his participation in the film, which is distributed by Makas Audiovisuais.

"The year is not over yet and I am here to announce that I had the honor of voicing the main character in the animated film 'Zak and Wowo' for all ages, which is scheduled to premiere on January 31st in all cinemas in Angola", the rapper wrote in a post on his Facebook and which VerAngola had access to.

Digital influencer Edgar de Sousa also used social media to announce his participation. According to a post on Instagram, Edgar de Sousa plays Kyle, Zak's twin brother.

These two figures from the national square are also joined by comedian Gilmário Vemba.

Taking place in a universe full of fantastic creatures and dangerous monsters, the film will follow Zak, a 13-year-old boy, who goes in search of his twin brother Kyle, who is missing.

For this mission, Zak has a magical jade stone and is accompanied by his grandmother NaïNaï and Indiana, an outlaw who has the ability to speak with the fantastic creatures of that universe, as well as Wowo, a creature transformed by the magical stone.
