João Lourenço authorizes sale of 12 industrial units in Luanda and Cabinda

The President of the Republic authorized the privatization, by sale, through a public tender, of eight industrial units in Luanda, mostly located in the Luanda-Bengo Special Economic Zone (ZEE), and four others in the province of Cabinda.

Presidential Order No. 232/23, of October 2, consulted by the Lusa agency, states that the sale of these assets falls within the Privatization Program (2023-2026), which needs to be completed.

In the ZEE, INDUCAMAR (tire and inner tube manufacturing unit), INDUMASSAS (food pasta factory), INDUTUBO (HDPE pipe factory), MECAMETAL (unit for manufacturing metal parts and structures) will be sold for sale. , PIVANGOLA (agricultural irrigation pivot manufacturing unit), SIDUREX (steel rolling mill) and ZUB II (concrete beams and panels manufacturing unit).

The list of assets to be sold also includes the Catete Silos Complex, in Luanda, and, in the province of Cabinda, the Chimbodo Warehouse, the Cabinda Frio Complex, the Cerâmica do Sassa Zau and the Wheat Flour Mill of Cabinda.

Propriv 2023-2026, the second phase of this program, includes 73 assets and companies for privatization, of which 21 are national reference companies.
