Regarding the future agenda of assets to be privatised, the Secretary of State for Finance and Treasury informed that Indutubo and Mecametal (from the Special Economic Zone (ZEE) Luanda-Bengo), nine Poupa Lá chain establishments, among others, are on the list.
"With regard to the companies that are part of the Special Economic Zone, two units will be privatized (...), Indutubo and also Mecametal. These are two assets that are in the Special Economic Zone and will be privatized, as well as industrial units that are in the province of Cabinda, such as a mill and also a cooling complex which is also headquartered in that province. he indicated, quoted by the Public Television of Angola (TPA).
Regarding the Poupa Lá stores, he informed that there are nine assets spread over five provinces: "Regarding the units that are part of Poupa Lá, there are a total of nine, one in Benguela, three in Cabinda, three in Luanda, one in in Lunda Sul and one in Zaire".
"The process of privatization of these companies will also start and will be done through the public tender procedure, in the form of disposal of assets", he added, quoted by TPA.
It should be recalled that in March of this year, the President of the Republic gave the green light to the extension of the PROPRIV implementation period for another three years (2023-2026).
