The companies in question "market international payment cards, through the 'Visa' network, wallet for emergency reserve and savings in foreign currencies and term deposits in foreign currencies, as well as foreign exchange trading".
However, according to the BNA, they are not licensed for this activity, so the regulator appeals "to banking financial institutions and the general public to refrain from establishing any business relationship with them".
The central bank also issued a warning, "to its promoters, to refrain from practicing any act that could be qualified as a crime".
