Luanda International Fair postponed to July 2021

The 36th edition of the Luanda International Fair (FILDA) has been postponed to 2021, and is now scheduled between 6 and 10 July, informed the organizer of the exhibition, Eventos Arena.

:

Initially scheduled for July this year, the 36th edition of FILDA was rescheduled for 6-10 October, but the covid-19 pandemic forced a new postponement of the event, now scheduled for next year.

“Although we have been registering the interest of both national and international entrepreneurs in the realization of FILDA 2020, and we have been moving efforts to hold this event with all the conditions of biosafety, the Ministry of Economy and Planning and Events Arena, following the recommendations of the covid-19 Multisectoral Commission, with a view to mitigating the effects of the pandemic, announce that the 36th edition of the Luanda International Fair has been postponed ”, justifies the organization.

The last edition of FILDA, held on the outskirts of Luanda, in 2019, featured representations from 21 countries.

Organized since the 1960s, FILDA presents itself as "a historic landmark" and "a direct reflection of the evolution and business and socio-economic development of Angola".

Angola currently has 7,829 cases of covid-19, of which 248 deaths, 3031 recovered and 4,550 active, including eight in critical condition and 20 serious.
