The head of state stressed that, despite the restrictions imposed by the pandemic of the new coronavirus, since last March, namely the national health fence, which had implications for international career flights, duly regulated exceptions will be made.
“To allow expatriates working in Angola, in the key sectors of our economy, in private companies and in the public infrastructure projects that need to be completed, to travel, as is already the case in the oil sector where inflows and expatriates have never ceased, ”he explained.
Angola has had its borders closed since March 20, to try to contain the spread of the pandemic, but it has authorized the carrying out of cargo and humanitarian flights for foreigners wishing to return to their countries of origin and the repatriation of Angolan citizens. that were held abroad.
