Trade in goods and services will be extended for another hour and may operate from 7am to 8pm, with 50 percent of the workforce in Luanda and 75 percent in the other provinces, while restaurants and similar may be open until 10pm.

Markets and street sales will be increased from three to five days a week, from Tuesday to Saturday.

Religious services can be resumed, from September 19, in the province of Luanda only two days a week, on Saturday and Sunday, and only for legally accredited religious institutions.

"What we want is to take a step forward with the precautions that are deemed necessary," including wearing a mask, physical distance and a maximum capacity of 50 percent, said the minister, admitting that "the evolution of the epidemiological situation may advise a different path" in the future.

Also from September 19, sports can be resumed in federated sports, maintaining the practice of individual sports and leisure in public space from 5.30am to 8pm, and can be done in groups of no more than five people, without the obligation of wearing a face mask.

In the field of cultural and recreational activities, it was also announced the possibility of operating theaters in the province of Luanda, the only one where they remained closed in a period that can go up to 9pm, with a maximum capacity of 50 percent of the room.

Public transportation and motor-taxis are no longer limited by law, and it is up to the service providers to define this, maintaining a capacity of 50 percent in Luanda. As of October 1, it is expected to reach 75 percent, as in the other provinces.

On the other hand, the health fence in Luanda is maintained for another 30 days, until 8 October 2020, being raised in the municipality of Cazengo, in Kwanza Norte.
