According to the calendar, released by executive order dated August 5, classes for the new academic year will officially begin on September 2, with the first quarter running until December 31.
This quarter includes a two-week break for Christmas and New Year's holidays. This break will run from December 22 to January 2 of the following year.
Quarterly exams will be held between December 8 and 19.
The second quarter begins on January 5, 2026, and will run until April 10 of the following year.
This quarter also includes breaks from March 30 to April 10 for Easter.
Quarterly exams are scheduled to take place between March 16 and 27.
The third and final quarter begins on April 13, 2026, and ends on July 31 of the following year, with quarterly exams being held from June 8 to 19.
National exams will take place between June 22nd and July 3rd, while the second round of exams is scheduled for July 6th and 10th.
Resit exams will take place between July 22nd and 24th, while special exams will take place from July 27th to 29th.
The academic year officially ends on July 31st, 2026.
"Registration, selection, and publication of lists of new students will take place from August 3rd to 12th, 2026," the decree states, adding that "enrollment for new students will take place from August 17th to 21st, 2026."
As for holidays, "for students in the various teaching subsystems, they occur as assessments are completed", while "teachers' holidays occur from July 23 to August 21, 2026, to allow seminars and teaching days to be held from August 24 to 28, 2026".
