Cited by Angop, the official, speaking as part of the signing ceremony, also informed that the involvement of cooperatives and the community in cleaning up Luanda is a guideline from the provincial government, and that it also aims to ensure that difficult areas access will be covered by the cooperatives - which will be responsible for sweeping, cleaning pedestrians, sidewalks and collecting damaged furniture.
Gonçalves Imperial considered that the initialization of the contracts marks the beginning of the first stage, which will cover the municipalities of Cazenga, Cacuaco and Kilamba Kiaxi. However, he added that this type of service is expected to be extended to other municipalities.
He also took the opportunity to indicate that, in the near future, several services will be shown, including the return of fumigation, estimated for November or December.
The future plans also include the insertion in the next few days of 200 compactor trucks and 1,200 containers of five cubic meters, which will be placed in areas considered critical, writes Angop.
Luísa Ngola, responsible for Cooperativa Kambunga Limitada do Kilamba Kiaxi, also mentioned by Angop, considered that the heading of the document will favor the generation of employment and also left the guarantee that they will work on raising awareness and environmental education of the population.
