"On the 19th we are going to inaugurate the large hospital in Cacuaco and at that moment we are struggling, it is also part of these concerns, because there are no nurses, there are no doctors to place in that hospital that needs 2500 professionals. At this moment, we are with 1100", said the municipal administrator, quoted by Rádio Nacional de Angola (RNA).
According to Auzílio Jacob, the aforementioned hospital has a wide range of services, with emphasis on oncology.
"It's a hospital equipped with cutting-edge material. It's the best hospital in Angola, the hospital that was built in Cacuaco, because it will provide all types of services, even curing cancer", stated the administrator, adding: "The our hospital will do radiotherapy, it will do chemotherapy".
The future hospital is located in the urban district of Sequele and will have 300 beds.
It is recalled that in February this year, the Minister of Health, Sílvia Lutucuta visited the general hospital of Cacuaco and Viana, having, at the time, stated that the work on both hospitals was "advanced".
