The Government will launch, this month, a public tender with 8000 vacancies for the health sector. The announcement was made this Friday by Sílvia Lutucuta, Minister of Health, who was speaking on the sidelines of a visit by João Lourenço to the construction of general hospitals in Viana and Cacuaco.

These vacancies are part of a total of 24 thousand to be filled in the next three years, clarified the holder of the Health portfolio.

Cited by Angop, the official also made it known that these posts are intended for infrastructures built under the Integrated Plan for Intervention in Municipalities (PIIM), among others.

Regarding the specialized training of professionals for these infrastructures, Sílvia Lutucuta said that it will be guaranteed. She also added that of the 33,000 professionals hired in the two public tenders, more than half (80 percent) were integrated in various municipalities, writes Angop.

Regarding the two future hospitals, the minister considered that they will help to reduce the tension in the reference units.

According to Angop, the official also took the opportunity to once again reinforce the commitment to providing quality services and infrastructure and left a word of courage to the professionals, so that they can carry out their duties in a humanist way and to adhere to training.
