Ministry of Health wants to hold annual public tenders until 2024

Until 2024, the Ministry of Health (MINSA) plans to hold annual public tenders, with prospects of filling around 8,000 vacancies in the sector. The information was provided by the national director of Human Resources at the Ministry of Health, Baptista Monteiro.

In addition, the official also took stock of the 2019 public tender. According to Baptista Monteiro, within the scope of the tender, 23,640 new professionals joined the sector.

The national director of Human Resources at the Ministry of Health, quoted by Angop, also made it known that the admission process was divided into three stages: a first stage in which 7000 professionals were admitted, a second stage in which 9290 professionals were admitted and a final stage, which 7350 professionals joined.

Firstly, the contest had a share of 7000 vacancies, but considering the needs of the sector and the opening of new health units, an additional slice was approved, via presidential order, for the entry of more professionals, he clarified.

The official stressed that the aforementioned public tender was, to date, the largest tender carried out by the tutelage.

The official also took the opportunity to mention that the competition is in the final stretch, having started on February 7th the survey of the route guides for technicians who have not yet been integrated. This process extends until the 21st of this month, writes Angop.

"The contest is in the final phase and those admitted, who had access to the results through a specific portal created for the public contest, within this period presented must contact the provincial offices in which they were admitted", he informed.

In the aforementioned competition, professionals were admitted on the basis of grades and special career.
