Of the new cases, 186 were registered in Luanda, 12 in Huambo, nine in Cunene, six in Cabinda, four in Huila, three in Bié, two in Kwanza Norte and one in Malanje, with ages between 3 and 81 years, of which 135 were male and 108 female.
In this period, eight deaths were reported, of Angolan citizens, five men and three women, between 33 and 89 years old, and 25 people, between 6 and 73 years old, were recovered from the disease.
The laboratories processed 2403 RT-PCR tests for a cumulative total of 551,608 samples.
The updated picture of the pandemic in Angola points to 31,661 cases, 704 deaths, 26,483 recoveries and 4474 active cases (of which 17 in critical condition and 38 severe), with 255 patients hospitalized and 43 people in institutional quarantine.
