Cesário Sousa Domingos prepares to launch his first literary book

Writer Cesário Sousa Domingos is preparing to launch his first literary book this year. Called “O Amor que Não Soube Amar – Entre o Que Sentia e Fazia”, the work is a psychological and emotional novel based on a true story.

:

This book, according to a statement sent to VerAngola, marks the writer's debut in literature, after a first experience in the scientific field.

The work is more than just a love story, it is an "intense and moving confession about loss, maturation and the importance of showing feelings".

The book will tell the story of Cael Duarte and Sara Katila António (fictitious names), exposing with "sensitivity the ups and downs of a relationship marked by mistakes, silences, and painful discoveries".

Thus, throughout the book, readers will be led "through moments of passion, hope, failures and deep regrets, in a true story that does not end with a traditional happy ending, but with a transformation."

According to the statement, the work is a "sincere account of someone who only learned the true meaning of love when it was too late."

With this book, the writer intends for readers to make an "emotional reflection on life, choices and time", as well as on how, often, we only "value love when we lose it".

The novel by Cesário Sousa Domingos, who in addition to being a writer is also a criminal psychologist, columnist for VerAngola and consultant for the National Defense Institute, comes after having written the scientific work "A Vítima no Sistema Jurídico Penal Angolano".
