The company in question is Er Sol which, according to the newspaper Expansão, has as shareholders the son of José Eduardo dos Santos, Danilo dos Santos, and the sister of the former first lady Ana Paula dos Santos, Vanda Macedo.
General Dino is also indirectly linked to the process of cleaning up the capital. According to the same newspaper, the largest shareholder of the above company is the Satuno company, of which 96 percent of the shares are held by António Carlos de Oliveira.
According to Expansão, António Carlos de Oliveira was part of the constitution of the Cochan group, which in 2014 decided to hand over its 70 percent stake to General Dino.
The businessman António Mosquito is also indirectly linked to one of the companies that will clean the streets of the capital. Expansão explains that the connection comes through the Dassala/Envirobac Consortium.
Alberto Adelino Dassala and his sons Ernandes Euclides Evaristo Avelino Dassala and Stenley Leandro Dassala are the shareholders of Dassala. Envirobac's shareholders are Enviroserv Waste Management and Bacatral - Sociedade de Transportes. About 75 percent of the shares of the latter company are held by the businessman António Moquito and the rest are held by Eduarda Nakunjuka Martinho Pindali.
Expansão tried to find out the value of the contracts, but without success.
It should be noted that earlier this week the Luanda Provincial Government revealed the name of the seven companies that will start collecting Luanda's garbage. The list is made up of Elisal EP, Er-Sol Lda, Sambiente, Multilimpeza Lda, Jump Business Lda, Chay Chay Lda and Consórcio Dassala/Envirobac Lda.
