According to the President of the Order, quoted by Angop, this Tuesday morning, around 700 professionals - between retired and unemployed - who intend to contribute in the fight against the covid-19 would have been enrolled. In case of need, these professionals will reinforce the services in several health units.
Lusia Muhongo also referred that this is an initiative that seeks to expand at a national level, stating that the Order covokes all professionals with a nursing license - retired or who have finished their course - to 'be auxiliary to the cause and help save lives, voluntarily '.
In Lubango, registrations run until Friday, without limitation of registrants. Interested parties must appear at the Order of Nurses building in possession of their professional certificates.
"I call for greater support and understanding from families and companions of nursing professionals, engaged in this risky art, but an honorable task of their relatives who have sworn to take care of the population's health at any price", said the official.
