Covid-19: Cultural activities postponed due to pandemic

Various cultural activities are being delayed in Angola, namely musical and fashion shows, such as "precautionary measures" to the new coronavirus pandemic, despite the fact that the country does not register any confirmed case, Lusa said.

Among the postponed activities, there is the musical show "Vozes de Março", scheduled for the 27th and 28th of this month, in Luanda, a measure that according to the producer Nova Energia appears to "prevent and prevent the spread of the virus".

The 23rd Edition of "Moda Luanda", scheduled for the 27th, was also postponed to 10 April, in compliance with the guidelines of the Angolan authorities, who urge to avoid the crowding of more than 200 people in public spaces.

In turn, the producer of cultural music shows Clé Entertainment announces, in a statement, the "postponement of all mass activities during this period of instability that the world faces" as a result of the spread of Covid-19.

"It is time for us to preserve ourselves, take care of our own and our health", reads the note.

Angola carries out actions to raise awareness and strengthen epidemiological surveillance measures at the 32 entry points throughout the country.
