This aircraft – which is the penultimate of the six acquired to reinforce the TAAG fleet – will join the other four that are already on Angolan soil, with the purpose of strengthening domestic and regional routes.
According to Angop, the plane was christened 'Cunhinga' and is capable of carrying 74 passengers (64 in economy class and 10 in executive).
Identical to the other four planes, this aircraft has low levels of noise pollution and fuel consumption, as well as being able to reach a flight autonomy of six hours and fly over 2500 meters of altitude, writes Angop.
The sixth and final Canadian plane is expected to 'land' in Angola later this year.
