Sebem launches new CD on Saturday and intends to share recipes with disadvantaged children

Musician Sebem – who is preparing to release his new CD this Saturday – wants to share the revenues from the new album with disadvantaged children. The announcement is from the kudurista himself, who wants to help, particularly, homes in the urban district of Zango.

Expressing expectations regarding the release of his new work, the musician said he had learned a lot about solidarity during the eight years he was dealing with his illness.

The kudurist said that when he was "at the height" of his career "he had many friends" in the music sector, however, this scenario changed with the illness. "When I was at the height of my career I had many friends in the music business, but since I got sick few have stopped by to say hello," he said, speaking to Angop.

As a result of this experience, Sebem stated, quoted by Angop, that he will look at children, given that they suffer and there are few who provide help to them, especially children living in homes and on the streets.

Remember that Sebem has been absent from the stage for eight years due to health reasons. This new album of his, which will be sold simultaneously in ten provinces, marks his return to the world of music.

With the support of Rádio Nacional de Angola (RNA), the album is composed of nine songs, the recording of which began ten years ago, with the executive production of Pandy Santana and Aldaberto Culanda 'Jeff Brown'.
