Sebem's forced retirement, caused by a serious illness known as neurocysticercosis, has its days numbered. According to the artist's producer, DJ Pedjome, the musician returned to the studios to record several songs.
"Sebem is singing and I, as his producer, am taking the songs. We are working, we started last year and, as someone very close, I have always worked with him as a producer and DJ, I am doing my best to do happen", said the producer, speaking to Platinaline.
DJ Pedjome also mentioned that Sebem "felt that he likes to make music" and that he would like to "be seen again and make his normal contribution as an artist" and, therefore, they are working in that direction.
"What happened as is known by all, we had some songs recorded for his album, songs that we had not finished mastering, but he felt that he likes to make music, he felt that he would like to be seen again and give his normal contribution as an artist, so we are working in that direction", said the producer to Platinaline.
According to Platinaline, the musician has been facing the aforementioned disease – which consists of an infection of the central nervous system – for almost 10 years (since 2014), however, it has shown signs of improvement.
It should be remembered that in 2020, Sebem received a T3 house in Centralidade do Zango 5, in a promise made by João Lourenço during a visit to the musician in 2017.
