Mohamed bin Zayed Nahyan, who was on a state visit to Angola, spoke after a private meeting with his counterpart, João Lourenço, emphasizing that relations between the two countries have seen continuous development, particularly in the areas of investment and non-oil trade.
According to the President of the United Arab Emirates, the volume of non-oil trade between the two countries reached US$2.1 billion last year, representing an increase of over 36 percent compared to 2019.
Regarding areas of interest, he emphasized his commitment to strengthening cooperation with the African country in areas he considered strategic, such as agriculture, energy, technology, food security, and logistics services.
