In an initial phase, this service will only be available to the capital. However, according to Domingos Fernando, executive director of the platform, the aim is to extend the services to the rest of the country.
"Several times we need to walk from ATM to ATM, looking for money or paper. With our application, this will no longer be necessary," explained the platform's executive director.
The responsible, cited by Angop, explained that the information that will reach the users will be in real time.
The company has already established an agreement with a bank, to have access to the information from automatic teller machines (ATMs). Without revealing the name of the bank that has already joined, Domingos Fernando made it known that the company is in negotiations with other banking entities.
According to him, these agreements will allow the application to map and identify ATMs and receive information from banks about the status of ATMs.
The "ONDE" emerged in 2017 as a geographic addressing service. According to the person in charge, the objective was to provide information on services and places.
"Our phrase of choice is quite simple: there is no tourism without addresses. Therefore, it is essential that addresses or the way to communicate addresses work first", he indicated.
For Domingos Fernando, addresses make it possible to "deliver products and services". "In our country people, unfortunately, still have difficulties to give indications about where they live", he explained. The "WHERE" came up to facilitate this process, he added.
Starting next year, the platform will make life easier for those who are looking for an electronic payment box with cash and receipt. In addition, the platform will also be able to be used by the government and institutions of the country to help in urban planning, data collection, management of goods and services, among others.
The use of "ONDE" - which won the 3rd edition of the contest "Start-ups Tourism" - is very simple. Users only have to enter the application and search the place they want.
