The Angola pavilion at Expo Dubai 2020, whose central theme is "Connecting with Tradition to Innovate", will present visitors with a musical-cultural show, which will feature the participation of some Angolan artists, writes Angop.

Valued at more than 4.5 million dollars, the Angolan pavilion occupies a space of 2300 square meters. According to Angop, the pavilion has a Sona format, which concerns the way of telling stories through drawings in the sand - a tradition of the Lunda-Cokwe culture - and which was designed by the architect Paula Nascimento.

In addition, the pavilion also includes a conference and fashion hall, areas for thematic exhibitions, an Investment and Export Promotion Agency zone, among others.

The Angolan pavilion was praised by Filipe Zau, minister of Culture, Tourism and Environment, who considered that the drawings in the sand left the pavilion "rich and well decorated".

Remember that João Lourenço has been in the United Arab Emirates since Monday, where he is making a three-day official visit. On Tuesday, the President of the Republic met with representatives of companies from that country that are interested in investing in Angola.
