The decision was advanced by the club's president, Bartolomeu Manuel, who, after meeting this Monday with the governor of the province of Cabinda, Mara Quiosa, promised that the team he leads will reappear stronger.
Bartolomeu Manuel said that the official promised that economic agents and other fringes of society will be involved in the process, in order to financially support the team in the championship.
Sporting de Cabinda players have not been paid for 21 months and, therefore, their work had stopped.
Last week, the players threatened to go on strike and stopped training for four days during the week, due to non-payment of their fees.
In the national football championship, Sporting de Cabinda is ranked fourth, with 13 points.
