Esperança da Costa in meeting with the president of Kenya to analyze cooperation

The Vice-President of the Republic, Esperança da Costa, held a meeting with the President of Kenya, William Rutu, on Sunday. At the hearing, in addition to analyzing matters related to the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries, the Kenyan president invited João Lourenço to a state visit to his country.

According to a statement sent to VerAngola, the meeting between the deputy PR and William Rutu took place on the sidelines of the 27th Session of the UN Conference of the Parties (COP27), which is taking place in Egypt.

According to the note, at the meeting, the two governors addressed "aspects related to the strengthening of cooperation between the two States in the most diverse domains".

In addition, the note says, the Kenyan head of state left an invitation to his Angolan counterpart: "President William Rutu sent an invitation to his counterpart João Lourenço for a state visit to Nairobi in the near future".

It should be remembered that Esperança da Costa has been in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, since Saturday, where she participates in COP27 on behalf of João Lourenço.

The event started on Sunday, November 6th, and will run until the 18th of this month.
