Partnership between TACV and TAAG may allow “low cost” flights to West Africa

Cape Verdean Prime Minister Ulisses Correia e Silva admitted the possibility that the partnership between the flag airlines of his country, TACV, and Angola's TAAG, would allow entry into the West African market through 'low transport' cost'.

Addressing Cape Verde's presence on WebSummit, Ulisses Correia e Silva pointed out that technological entrepreneurship at the event is "important" for the 10 Cape Verdean 'startups' present.

"It is very important to provide a stage for our young entrepreneurs, because the digital economy is a global area. They need to meet other investors, other promoters, they need to put into practice and test what they have been developing and manage to have good contacts to achieve this create conditions in the market, and the Government has been supporting", concluded the prime minister.
