For now, the flagship airline will carry out one flight a week, on Thursdays. This flight will operate the Luanda-Menongue, Menongue-Cuito and Cuito-Luanda route and vice versa.

Passengers wishing to travel on this route will have to submit a negative test to covid-19.

Cited by Angop, Francisco Rafael, head of the scale in Menongue, explained that they are already working with the public health department of the Provincial Health Office and the Provincial Multisectoral Commission for the Prevention and Combat of Pandemics, in order to create conditions for that the tests are carried out at the airport.

Tickets cost between 31,000 kwanzas and 90,000 kwanzas. According to Angop, the cheapest ticket allows passengers to carry luggage weighing up to five kilograms, while those who pay 90,000 kwanzas have a ticket valid for one year.

The return of TAAG's domestic flights has been welcomed by passengers. This is the case of Teresa Vanusa, who underlined the fact that the flight had saved her time, as the journey between the capital and Menongue by land takes about 18 hours, while the flight takes about two hours.

Cited by Angop, the passenger also praised the biosecurity measures created.

Edgar Lundo, another passenger, considered the trip as sufficient, but regretted the prices charged.

Pedro Luemba Pupa, on the other hand, suggested that conditions be created to carry out the tests for covid-19 at the airport, in order to prevent possible limitations.
