This reopening is part of the program of gradual resumption of domestic flights of the nationally-flagged company, with the cities of Menongue and Cuito having a weekly frequency, in this case, on Tuesdays.
According to Angop, the program comprises three phases, having already started on the 10th of this month. The main highlight goes to the province of Cabinda, which now has daily flights. Furthermore, on Fridays and Sundays there will be two frequencies per day for this province.

First phase
Cabinda - two services on Friday and Sunday (since 10 September);
Lubango - a weekly service on Wednesday (from 15th September);
Saurimo - a service on Sundays (since 19 September);
Cuito and Menongue - one frequency on Tuesday (from 28 September).
Second phase
Cabinda - one frequency on Wednesday (from 6th October);
Dundo - one frequency on Friday (from 8 October).
Third phase
Moçâmedes - a frequency on Sundays (from October 17th);
Ondjiva - a frequency on Friday (from 22 October);
Luena and Catumbela - one frequency on Tuesday (from 26 October);
Cuito and Menongue - a frequency on Saturdays (from 30th October).
TAAG resumes internal flights: domestic routes reopened and reinforced this month
TAAG is preparing to reopen services to the cities of Menongue (Cuando Cubango) and Cuito (Bié), also increasing the frequency of flights to the provinces of Cabinda and Benguela. The changes take effect on the 28th of September.
