According to the leader of CASA-CE, within the scope of participatory governance, "based on the values of citizenship, the Constitution and the law", they will submit, in due time, the document of their governance program to the contribution of all sensibilities, "so that the final product reflects the national will, founded on the great purpose of saving Angola in order to make Angolans a reality".

The president of the coalition, created in 2012 and made up of six political parties, including the Democratic Bloc, with Abel Chivukuvuku as its first leader, called on Angolans to remain firm in the patriotic ideals of citizenship, democracy and active participation in destiny history of the country".

Manuel Fernandes also called for redoubled vigilance "against actions that aim to endanger peace, tolerance, national reconciliation, employment, the fight against corruption, impunity and injustice, as well as the development of national well-being".

In the 2017 elections, CASA-CE managed to elect 16 deputies to the National Assembly, however, midway through the term, in 2019, eight deputies withdrew from the parliamentary bench and became independents, after the then leader of the coalition, Abel Chivukuvuku, replaced by one of the vice presidents of the political organization, André Mendes de Carvalho "Miau".
