According to a statement from the government of the province of Luanda (GPL), to which VerAngola had access, the buses will be available in all municipalities, with the trip at the normal price.
"More than 150 buses from various operators will be available in all municipalities, on a special round trip, at the normal fare, to access the 11 de Novembro National Stadium, on Monday, September 9, to support the national team in the match against Sudan, a Group F match for the African Cup of Nations – CAN 2025, in the Kingdom of Morocco", the statement reads.
The GPL also reports that, at the consultation meeting held last Friday, "the situation of lighting and public safety were also assessed, and mechanisms were defined to guarantee the best conditions for the massive participation of the 12th player".
The game is scheduled for 8:00 pm, but the gates will open at 5:00 pm, according to the GPL, which adds that the match "is expected to attract 45,000 fans, with ticket prices starting at one thousand kwanzas".
In a preview of Monday's match, the national coach, Pedro Gonçalves, expressed confidence in victory, taking into account the motivation and progress of the national athletes.
According to the coach, quoted by Angop, the team's tranquility and well-being make it possible to consider victory at home. However, he considered that it will not be an easy task, acknowledging that the opponent has been "improving considerably".
"Our goal is to win, but the team will have to work hard, because the opposing team has also been improving considerably. Just look at the statistics from their last World Cup qualifying games, such as against Niger", he pointed out when speaking to the press on Sunday, after the team's training session.
Likewise, he also pointed out other skills of Sudan, such as the fact that it has a consistent group, with athletes of great physical stature, however, the national team is ready to deal with any scenario and solve problems to win and, consequently, win the three points.
According to Pedro Gonçalves, the Palancas Negros' attention will also have to be focused on the ball transitions, which is where their opponent tries to take advantage.
Although there was little time to prepare for the game, the coach, quoted by Angop, said that he was working on the strategy, expecting a massive turnout of fans at the 11 de Novembro National Stadium.
It is worth remembering that, last week, the national team faced Ghana, winning 1-0.
The CAN2025 will be held in Morocco from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026.
