The FAF simply reported that the forward had breached the team's code of conduct under the orders of Portuguese coach Pedro Gonçalves, 48 hours after Angola's victory over Ghana at the latter's home ground in the opening round of qualifying for the 2025 African Cup of Nations (CAN), which will be played in Morocco.
The Angolans, who share the lead in Group F with Sudan with three points, will play again this Monday in Luanda, hosting Sudan in the second round of the tournament.
The biggest African football tournament will be played from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026 in Morocco.
