Also according to the coordinator of the Multisectoral Commission, all the necessary services are in place for the start of the process next Thursday. The official reported on the guarantee of the functioning of the logistical part, highlighting the provision of work equipment to the census takers, as well as food, transport and tablets, with a stock of over two percent to prevent possible technical constraints.
During another edition of CaféCIPRA, the minister also called for citizens' collaboration in the act of carrying out the census, reaffirming that all data collected will be confidential and will contribute to a possible improvement in the lives of the population and their well-being.
José Calengi, director of INE, called for mass participation from the population and asked for the provision of reliable information. This official also stated that all the conditions have been created for the statistical operation to begin, stating that more than 92,000 professionals are involved, including census takers, technical and logistics assistants and drivers.
The Government has made available around 30 billion kwanzas to collect demographic and housing data in the country, José Calengi also said.
The Director of Public Security of the National Police, Commissioner Orlando Bernardo, has guaranteed the provision of 16,000 personnel who will ensure security and public order during the process.
Also present at the 'Café' was Victor Hugo Guilherme, Minister of Planning, who stated that the Census data will be a way of helping the Executive to develop public policies focused on resolving the population's concerns.
