According to Angop, with his integration into the Green and White squad, Marco Furtado – who will live in Portugal – appears on the list of national athletes to play for the Portuguese team, in which Pedro Pinotes stands out.
Although he is still young, Furtado already has some achievements under his belt.
The highlight is the fact that he won the title of champion in the fifty-meter butterfly in his class, at zone IV level, by achieving a mark of 29.02, after winning the race at the African Championships (held this year in the capital of the country), writes Angop.
According to Angop, several titles at national and provincial level are also part of his professional career.
