More than 100 buses available to take faithful to Muxima during pilgrimage

A total of 190 buses will be made available to transport pilgrims to Muxima, whose pilgrimage starts this Friday and runs until Sunday (3 September).

Means of transport will be available in various locations in the city of Luanda. According to a press release cited by Angop, pilgrims must gather, from 06:00, at sites previously determined by the Government of the Province of Luanda.

Thus, the list of locations chosen for the municipality of Luanda includes Largo das Escolas, Mutamba, Ngoma da Petrangol, Porto de Luanda, Morro Bento, Cassequel do Buraco, Cemitério Santa Ana and Mercado do São Paulo.

The stops in Cacuaco are at the Igreja Católica da Vila, na Centralidade do Sequele and Moagem do Kikolo, while in Cazenga pilgrims can catch buses at Marco Histórico, Mercado dos Kwanzas and Paróquia do Sagrado Coração de Jesus (Asa Branca), writes Angop.

Two locations were defined for Talatona, in Benfica (EN 100) and in the Talatona Administration, as well as the same number for Quiçama (Cabo Ledo and Municipality of Icolo and Bengo).

In Belas, pilgrims can catch transport at Largo dos Ramiros, Benfica, Paróquia do Kilamba and also at the Belas Administration.

In Kilamba Kiaxi, the stops were created in Vila Estoril, Vila Estoril (via Calemba 2), Nova Vida and Largo do Kilamba Kiaxi, while in Viana, according to Angop, the stops extend through Paróquia São Lucas (Zango 1), Zango 3, Calumbo, Calemba 2, Viana Cathedral, Estalagem (Banco Bic) and Municipal Administration.

Remember that this week, namely on Wednesday, the Preparatory Commission for the Pilgrimage to the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora da Muxima held a press conference, where the technical conditions created to receive the faithful were presented.

According to a note from the Government of the Province of Luanda, to which VerAngola had access, "more than 2000 personnel from the National Police and the Civil Protection and Fire Service Service are guaranteed to ensure order, tranquility and public assistance, as well as a car park, with payment of a minimum fee of 500 kwanzas".
