"Let's now analyze all of them, because some really refer to their documentation, first is that they are not even youth associations and say they work for youth, and others are young people, but they need support to take the first steps and become more active," said Ana Paula do Sacramento.
The governor, who was speaking at the end of the official launch ceremony of the electronic platform for registration of youth associations and students in the country, said that the mechanism will really assess where and what the Angolan youth associations do.
According to Ana Paula do Sacramento, the authorities need to know the social object of each youth and student association, whether or not it contributes to the development of the National Youth Policy.
The minister pointed out the need to verify whether or not the association "is working for the development of the community," or whether it exists only legally, "but in fact has no task.
"Therefore, we need to work on a set of data that will make the associative movement active and participatory," she said.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports, with the support of the Ministry of Telecommunications, Information Technology and Social Communication, launched this Wednesday the electronic platform for registration of youth and student associations in the country.
The tool aims to create a database of the registration of youth and student organizations in the country in order to "identify, certify, support, monitor the dynamics" and the degree of activity of youth organizations.
