Luanda Medical Center now has an Occupational Medicine unit

The Luanda Medical Center has a new Occupational Medicine unit operating at the Talatona clinic, which arises from the need and request of customers to support the health and safety of company employees all over the country.

Occupational Medicine is dedicated to the diagnosis and prevention of changes in health, illnesses and occupational accidents, hygiene, safety and toxicology related to working conditions and the environment.

Luanda Medical Center wants to help companies promote a safer working environment and a better quality of life in organizations, increasing productivity and reducing absenteeism, says the medical center, in a statement sent to VerAngola.

Health promotion and surveillance within Occupational Medicine guarantees an essential aspect in the fight against occupational accidents, they add. This new service aims to help increase productivity and reduce absenteeism in companies, while complying with requirements regulated and applicable by Angolan law.

"The opening of our new Occupational Medicine unit is a project that was in the pipeline for 2023 and represents an expansion in LMC's service offering. We are committed to creating innovative and personalized solutions to meet the needs of our customers and help them to protect the health and safety of its employees.
