Speaking at the end of a meeting with the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, the Serbian minister said that this donation represents a gesture of friendship towards Angola, Angop reported.

About the meeting with the Head of State, Nikola Selakov said that common issues were discussed between both countries, highlighting the diplomatic, political and economic components.

According to Angop, the meeting also served to inform João Lourenço about the preparations for the 60th anniversary of the Non-Aligned Movement, which will take place in October in Serbia and where Angola will be represented by Teté António, minister of Foreign Affairs.

On economic cooperation, the Serbian minister considered that there is a lack of contact between the business community of the two countries, but stressed that there is "much interest" on the part of Serbia in investing in Angola.
