According to the Secretary of State for Finance for the Treasury, Ottoniel dos Santos, the revenues raised will result from the privatisation of five companies in 2019 and 30 in 2020.

The minister, who was speaking during the weekly 'briefing' of the Ministry of Economy and Planning, dedicated to the theme of privatisations, also said that the privatisation of 33 state assets was underway this year.

The privatization processes of the Bank of Commerce and Industry (BCI), which will be through the Debt and Securities Exchange of Angola (Bodiva), the National Insurance Company of Angola (ENSA), the Infotur hotel chain, Multitel, some industrial units of the Special Economic Zone, the chain of hypermarkets and supermarkets Kero, among others, are underway in Angola.

The Government's Propriv foresees the privatization of more than 190 companies and/or state assets until 2022 in the banking, hotel and tourism, finance, insurance, agriculture, telecommunications, industries, and oil sectors, among others.

The National Interministerial Commission of Propriv maintains the goal of privatizing 100 assets and/or public companies this year, noting, however, that stock exchange privatizations may extend until 2022, as recently announced by the deputy coordinator of the technical group of Propriv, Patrício Vilar.
