TAAG presents new look to the world in ordered aircraft. ‘New face’ maintains all Angolanity

TAAG decided to apply the “traces of its visual identity” to the A220 and B787 Dreamliner aircraft ordered from Airbus and Boeing, as part of the transformation strategy and reaffirmation of the brand image, the company said, adding that the new look maintains “all Angolanity”.

:

"The aircraft retain all Angolanity in their decoration, with the reinforcement of the visibility of the sable on the plane's tail and wings, use of the color pattern inspired by the traditional Angolan cloth called 'samakaka'", says TAAG, in a statement sent to VerAngola.

According to the flag airline, the first aircraft in its fleet "within this concept (new livery)" will be the Airbus A220-300 – capable of carrying 137 passengers, 12 of which in business class and the remaining 125 in economy – which will be it is expected to be delivered in the third quarter of this year.

Thus, says TAAG, passengers and customers will soon be able to "enjoy the new Airbus A220-300 on local and regional flights, an aircraft that will transcend the skies with the colors of Angola, and a look that illustrates TAAG's ambition to position itself as a modern airline of choice".

"In a context in which important challenges are approaching, such as the transfer of TAAG's operation to the New Luanda International Airport, Dr. António Agostinho Neto, and the change in the competitive scenario, with the introduction of the Single African Air Transport Market (MUTAA/SAATM), the company is materializing its strategic plan with the growth of the fleet and destinations in order to capture more traffic and reinforce its regional connectivity", the note also says.
